This guide will help you set up, charge, and troubleshoot your Solar Blaze light to ensure the best performance.


⚙️ Product Basics

Q: How does the Solar Blaze light work?
A: The Solar Blaze light uses solar power to charge during the day and automatically turns on at night using dusk-to-dawn photocell technology.

Q: Does it require direct sunlight?
A: Yes. For optimal charging, the panel must be angled directly toward the sun and fully exposed, with no shading from trees, roofs, or other structures.

Q: Can I use the light indoors?
A: Indoors, you can charge it via USB, but solar charging requires full outdoor sunlight exposure.


🔋 Charging the Light

Q: Can I use USB charging?
A: Yes. Use the USB-C port for direct charging.

  • 🔴 Red Light = Charging

  • 🟢 Green Light = Fully Charged

If the green light never appears, the battery may not be charging properly or could be defective.

💡 Note:

  • The light is equipped with photocell technology. It only turns on in darkness.

  • It will not turn on if there is light nearby, even if charged. This is not a defect, but part of the light’s dusk-to-dawn function.

Q: How long does it take to charge?

  • Solar charging: ~6 hours of full, direct sunlight.

  • USB charging: ~6 hours to full charge.

Q: Will the panel charge even if the light is off?
A: Yes, charging works whether the light is switched on or off.


🔌 Setup & Installation

Q: How do I install the solar panel?
A:

  • Place it where it will receive maximum direct sunlight.

  • Avoid shaded or partially blocked areas.

Q: How do I turn the light on/off?
A:

  • There’s a button at the back of the panel.

  • Press and hold to turn on/off or to dim.

  • The light will respond to the button and may cycle through brightness levels.

Q: Do I need to remove anything before using it?
A: Yes — make sure to peel off the red protective film from each bulb before use. Leaving the film on may affect brightness and function.

✅ Diagnostic Steps for Support

When helping a customer, check these in order:

  1. USB Charging

    • Plug in and look for red → green indicator lights.

  2. Solar Panel Exposure

    • Is it angled toward the sun?

    • Any shading from nearby objects?

  3. Photocell Check

    • Cover the panel or test at night to verify it turns on in darkness.

  4. Connector Orientation

    • Ensure the notch in the connector is properly aligned and not inverted.

  5. Protective Film

    • Confirm all red film is removed from each bulb.

  6. Battery Health

    • If fully charged but lasts only 30–60 minutes, the battery may be defective.
